Privacy Policy
Last updated 3 September 2026
This policy covers marketgence.com. Each Marketgence app publishes its own privacy policy on its App Store listing and in-app; where an app policy differs, the app policy governs that app.
Who is responsible
Marketgence Technologies LLC, Rock Springs, Wyoming, United States, is the data controller for this website. Contact: hello@marketgence.com. We have not appointed an EU or UK representative; write to the same address for any data protection question.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address, an optional product name, and your message.
- Waitlist form: your email address and the product line you asked about.
- Server logs: our hosting and database providers record technical data such as IP address, user agent, and request time for security and reliability.
We do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this site, we do not use cookies for tracking or profiling, and we do not build behavioural profiles. The only browser storage used is a session token for the private admin area.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
- Answering your inquiry — consent, and steps taken at your request before entering a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(b)).
- Telling you when a product ships — your consent, given when you submit the waitlist form (Art. 6(1)(a)).
- Keeping the site secure and working — our legitimate interest in preventing abuse and operating the service (Art. 6(1)(f)).
We never sell personal data, never share it with advertisers, and do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
Who processes data for us
We use a small number of processors under written data processing terms: Supabase (database and authentication hosting) and Cloudflare (site delivery and hosting). Processors act only on our instructions.
Cookies and local storage
This site sets no advertising, analytics, or profiling cookies, so no consent banner is required. The only browser storage we use is a strictly necessary session token, set in local storage after a successful sign-in to the private administration area. It is not used for tracking and is cleared on sign-out. Our hosting provider may set short-lived security cookies that are strictly necessary to serve and protect the site.
Automated decisions and AI features
We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you. Where a Marketgence product uses machine learning or generative AI, that product’s own policy states what is sent to a model provider, whether it is retained, and whether it is used for training. Website inquiries and waitlist entries are never used to train models.
Email you receive from us
We email you only to reply to you or to send updates about the product line you joined. Every list email carries an unsubscribe link and our postal identity; we do not send third-party advertising. Unsubscribing does not delete your data — ask by email if you want it erased as well.
Providing data and consequences
Providing personal data to this site is voluntary. If you choose not to provide an email address we cannot reply to you or add you to a waitlist, but you can still use the rest of the site.
Breach notification and third-party links
If a personal data breach is likely to result in a risk to your rights, we notify the competent supervisory authority within 72 hours of becoming aware of it and inform affected people without undue delay where the law requires. This site links to third-party destinations such as the App Store and code repositories; their operators control their own data practices and this policy does not apply to them.
International transfers
We operate from the United States, so data you send may be processed there. Where data is transferred out of the EEA or UK, our processors rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum.
How long we keep it
Inquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last exchange. Waitlist entries are kept until you unsubscribe, until the product ships and the list is retired, or after 24 months of inactivity. Technical logs are kept for a short period by our providers. We delete data sooner on request.
Your rights
If you are in the EEA or UK you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out. Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws may request access to and deletion of their data and may opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal data.
Email hello@marketgence.com and we will respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Accounts and deletion in our apps
Where a Marketgence app supports account creation, the app provides an in-app route to delete the account and its associated data. You can also request deletion by email; see Support.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has sent us data, write to us and we will delete it.
Security and changes
Data is stored in access-controlled systems with row-level security, encrypted in transit over HTTPS and at rest by our providers. No system is perfectly secure. When this policy changes we update the date above and, for material changes affecting people on our lists, tell them by email.
